“Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.” (Psalms 102:13)

 In this season God desires to bless His people with His “Divine Favor”.  “Divine Favor!” is an uncommon blessing or breakthrough that God Himself has orchestrated and ordained for your life.  This favor comes directly from the hand of God and is released to propel you to your next dimension of success and breakthrough.  

Over the years, I have found that many people are excited to embrace the idea of God’s “Divine Favor” at work in their lives. However, few people actually know how to activate it. As believers, God has given every believer powerful kingdom practices which can attract the presence and divine favor of God to their lives.  This ability, however, is a grace that He bestows upon His children, who love and trust Him; and is cultivated by developing an intimate and personal relationship with Him.

Men of God such as King David and the mighty prophet Elijah knew how to win the heart of God and attract His presence to their lives.  In, 1 Samuel 13:14, Acts 13:22, the Word of God says that David was a man after God’s own heart.  David was a worshipper and knew how to seek the face of God to receive victory strategies during times of battle and  how to humble himself to receive the Father’s forgiveness during times of personal failures.

Also, in James 5:17, the Word of God reveals that Elijah was a man with like passions, just as we are, and he knew how to move the hand of God.  He prayed that there be no rain and for the space of three years and six months, it did not rain.  Then he prayed again and the rains came.  Elijah had a relationship with God, where God backed up his words.  The bible never said that God instructed Elijah to declare that there would be no rain.  Elijah declared it and God moved on his behalf.  This type of spiritual authority is bestowed upon the believer who God can trust.  Both men of God had to have developed an intimate relationship with God that would attract His attention and active presence in their lives.

Once you create an atmosphere of worship and devotion to God, not only will you attract His presence to you but you will keep heaven open over your life and His divine favor flowing towards you.

PRAYER:   Father God, I give you thanks and praise for the power of Your Word and that your Word concerning me will not return void.  You declared in Psalm 102:13 that you shall arise and have mercy upon (me) for the time, even the set to time to favor (me) has come.

DECLARATION:  I decree and declare that the divine favor of God will surround me like a shield.  I decree and declare that divine encounters and great doors of opportunity will be opened to me in this season in Jesus’ name.  I declare that this is my time to be blessed and to prosper according to God’s divine plan for my life.  I accept His scepter of blessings and increase that is extended towards me right now in Jesus name

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19)

Spiritual Warfare is a reality for every born again believer who loves God and made the decision that they were going to follow after His divine will and plan for their lives.

In the realm of the spirit there are two opposing forces which are the kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of Light.  God is Sovereign Lord and Ruler in the Kingdom of Light while satan rules and instructs the kingdom of darkness. The satanic kingdom operates out of a hierarchal structure of principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places, thrones, dominions, powers, mights, demons and more.

Ever since the devil was kicked out of heaven in Revelation 12, he and his contingent of demons who rebelled against God have come down to the earth realm with a very specific assignment  to wreak havoc in the lives of people.  The enemy knows that he and his demons have a short time before their final judgment  which is an eternity separated from God; forever bound in the bottomless pit in hell.

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.  (Revelation 20:10)

In John 10:10, the Word of God reveals that the enemy’s goal in the earth realm is to steal, kill and destroy.  He is such a wicked adversary that his desire is to see people in bondage, hardship, pain and torment.  He came down to the earth realm to, not only bring affliction and distress, but to try and deceive people to also rebel against God or the Kingdom of God and to become a part of his demonic kingdom.  If you are not serving God, you are serving the devil and become a candidate for him to use in the earth realm to help him advance his wicked plans.  As he has deceived many angels who were cast out of heaven with him, his attention is now to try and deceive as many people on earth to serve and follow him rather than serving and following after the One True God, Jehovah who is blessed forever.

Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure:  (Isaiah 5:14)    

The devil’s ultimate goal is to cause as many people as he can influence, persuade, manipulate or convince to receive the same eternal judgement he faces that was only reserved for him and his angels. And how is he planning to accomplish this great deception in these last days? Through the use of witchcraft! Every form of witchcraft. Witchcraft at every level and degree, by whatever means necessary.

Witchcraft is the manipulation, domination, control or evil influence over the mind, will, intellect and/or emotions of an individual in order to subvert their divine purpose in God or to destroy them.  Witchcraft is outright rebellion against God and His Word.  It is motivated by evil powers from the kingdom of darkness to carry out its diabolical intentions. The enemy can use  anyone to seek to rise up against you. (1 Samuel 15:23)

Witchcraft attacks can come from family members, co-workers and even friends in the form of household witchcraft; from witches, evil men and other wicked people through psychic witchcraft; from internal wars within churches in the form of religious witchcraft; through false propaganda to trust in the government more than in God in the form of governmental witchcraft; from your own human spirit in the form of self witchcraft which is going after your own carnal desires more than pursuing the things of God.

The ultimate curse of succumbing to a witchcraft attack is to lose your relationship with God and spend an eternity separated from Him. Jude 1:3 speaks volumes to every believer…that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

Christians! Believers! Children of God!…you’ve got to fight! You cannot allow anyone or anything to distract you from serving God.  Jesus died so that you could be free from the relentless attacks of the enemy to serve God now and throughout eternity.  Your eternity starts now with accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Once you accept Him, you are saved from hell’s eternal damnation and now have a right to live the abundant life He designed for you. Jesus loves you so much that He came to earth to sacrifice His life so that you could live abundantly with Him today, tomorrow and forever!

The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?  (Proverbs 18:14) 

Years ago the Spirit of God showed me that that human soul is just as fragile as an egg.  Just as you would handle an egg with the utmost care and not just throw it around, so must you be careful what you expose your soul to.  In Proverbs 4:23, the Word of God warns us that we are to guard our hearts with all diligence, for out of it flows the issues of life. This simply means that we have to be careful what we allow to happen to us and who we allow access to us.

We  have to be selective of what advice we take; which relationships we pursue; which decisions to make; which occupations to go after and the like.  The wrong people speaking into your life can derail you and cause you years of unnecessary heartache or despair.

The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil; for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks. (Luke 6:45)

If your heart is pure, you will be able to produce what is good and pure.  However, if your soul becomes hurt or wounded then it is susceptible to soul contaminants such as bitterness, resentment, hatred, jealousy, envy, strife or the like.  These ungodly contaminants cause you to see everything in life from a distorted perception and can attract negative people, negative experiences and even cures to your life.

In Luke 6:45, the Word of God reveals that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks; meaning, whatever is in your heart, is what is going to come out of your spirit.

The truth of the matter is, however, whatever the condition or “health” of your soul is directly related to how sound your decisions in life will be and how you will rebound from devastating experiences. This is why you must protect your soul; your mind, against negative thoughts and negative-speaking people; your will, against what you want that may not line up with the will of God for your life; your intellect, against how you interpret or process what  you experienced, heard or felt; and your emotions, against negative people who do not care about you or how you feel.

If your soul ever becomes wounded, only the love of God can deliver you, even in the hidden cavities of your soul, from deep-seated hurt and destructive soul wounds.  Jesus knows everything about you.  He created you and knows how to heal you if you want to be free.  (John 8:36)

No matter how deeply rooted or how long your soul has been scarred, the spirit of God knows how to heal you. He is the only one to whom you can freely give all of your heart, soul and self.  You can freely cast all of your hurt, your disappointment, your pain upon Him and know that you are totally safe because He knows how to love and deliver you out from the bondages of every soul wound or soul scar! (Psalm 102:20)

The spirit of a thing carries the nature and characteristic of that thing.   Witchcraft is a demonic practice which conjures up devastating attacks to the mind and soul of an individual in an effort to cause harm, injury or pain.

This wicked practice targets the minds of people, can originate from several different sources and can manifest in several different ways.   Some of these ways were generated by the home environment you grew up in or the social environment in which you are connected      known as Household Witchcraft.

Household witchcraft is very subtle because this represents commonly held tendencies, attitudes or beliefs that you were either taught or grew up experiencing but are now working against you; bringing destructive curses upon your life.  These subtle workings are all a part of the enemy’s wicked devices which seek to sabotage your destiny and leave you void of experiencing all that God has for you.  (John 10:10)

For some men, you may have grown up seeing your father smoking, drinking or having a lot of women and at the time he says to you that these are the things you should be doing to prove you are a man.  For some women, they may have grown up seeing their aunts have children out of wedlock and believed that this is how you are supposed to live your life.  On the other hand, some women may have witnessed their father abusing their mother and believe that this is the way a man shows love to a woman, by abusing her.

Household witchcraft can be very subtle.  These practices are so familiar to you that you have unknowingly embraced them as your personality, a part of who you are or a part of what you do.  How many times have someone tried to bring something to your attention and your response, generally is, “Well, that’s just the way I am.” Or “I’m just being myself.” Or, “Well, growing up, this is what we did.”

It has to do with certain beliefs held by family members, friends, coworkers or those believed by a group called your “inner circle” which seek to manipulate your mind and fight against or resist the will, plan and purpose of God in your life.

Anything that fights against the will of God for your life is of the devil.  In 3 John 1:2, the Word of God reveals that above everything else in life, it is the will of the Father that you prosper because your soul is prospering.  The prosperity of your soul speaks to a peace, love, joy and soundness of mind, knowing that everything you are doing is in divine alignment with the will of God for your life. Jesus wants to set you free from household witchcraft so that you can experience your best life ever! (1 John 3:8)

Practicing any level of witchcraft is sin and will bring separation or death between you and God.  Witchcraft seeks to manipulate your mind and targets your intentions, your will, your intellect and your emotions.  In other words, the intention is to take over, manipulate or control you by taking possession of your soul.

Some people create their own witchcraft covenants with the realm of darkness by saying what they will never do.   Saying words such as, “I will never trust you again.” Or “I will never forgive you for what you have done!” Or “I hate you and I always will.”   When we speak such condemning words with resolute passion we are actually cursing a situation or a marital relationship and opening demonic doors.   

As the law of attraction is an established law in the realm of the spirit, witchcraft attracts witchcraft. Therefore, there are many other ways you can attract a spirit of witchcraft to your life.  Some of which include:

• When you harbor un-forgiveness, bitterness or resentment, you can unknowingly attract spirits of witchcraft to your life. When this happens, your soul becomes influenced or dominated by the kingdom of darkness to carry out its ill wishes and demonic assignments.

• When you become rebellious against God, you become angry, hateful, full of malice, envy, jealousy,  hatred and rage that you want harm someone; in so doing, you can also open the door to the spirit of witchcraft.

• When you seek out or consult with someone to bring harm to another person both of you have made a contract with the kingdom of darkness.

²³ For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness
is as iniquity and idolatry. (1 Samuel 15:23)

Witchcraft in any form is a sin and the Word of God reveals that the soul that sins shall die.  (Ezekiel 18:20) This death here represents a spiritual death; a dying to the true life that God has for you; a death to joy, peace and love replaced with a life of misery, fear and torment.  This is why the practice of witchcraft is an abomination to God.  Revelation 21:8 speaks of the final judgment to those who practice witchcraft if they do not repent.

If this sin is present in your generation or even in your generational lineage, repent of it right now and the sins  of your ancestors.   In 1 John 1:9, we are assured that if we confess our sins God is faithful and just to forgive us of every sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness; once we are cleansed this gives us the peace love and joy to live an abundant, victorious life free from the traps of the enemy.  (John 10:10)

² But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. (2 Corinthians 4:2)

 The word occult means hidden, covered, concealed or secret.  The secrets of the occults are known to those who are the leaders or organizers of the occult.

This simply means that they know exactly why they formed it.   Unfortunately, most people who end up in the occult just go along with its practices and beliefs but do not know the truth behind its foundations.

The practice of witchcraft can also be categorized as occult involvement.   Many people use witchcraft, psychical, metaphysical, and occult powers, whether directly or indirectly, for the purpose to control, dominate intimidate or influence the life of someone else, to their detriment.

 Witchcraft is outright rebellion against God and His word.  It uses evil powers from the kingdom of darkness to carry out its intentions.  Spells, curses, evil incantations, hexcrafts, jinxcrafts, soothsaying, fortune-telling, palm reading, tea leaf reading and the like are all forms of witchcraft.

 Deuteronomy 18:10-12
¹⁰ There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch.  ¹¹ Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.  ¹² For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

 According to Deuteronomy 18:10-12 and Revelation 21:8, witchcraft or occult practices are an abomination to God and all who engage in such practices will be judged by Him.  Many people do not realize that consulting with witches, psychics, palm readers and the like, causes a demonic curse to come to their lives.   Not only are the witches cursed, but those who seek their counsel are also cursed.

This curse is carried out by a demonic spirit assigned to the individual’s life as soon as they depart from the presence of the witch.  They may have left the home or dwelling place of the witch but they have now attracted a demonic spirit which is assigned to wreak havoc in their lives. It is not God’s will that we seek from the demonic realm of darkness what He is willing to release to us from His Heavenly, Divine Kingdom.   Serving the devil and his kingdom will bring curses on your life.  Serving God and His Heavenly Kingdom will bring blessings and prosperity to you.  (John 10:10)

 If you have practiced witchcraft or have consulted with someone who practices witchcraft, pray and ask God to forgive you and to have mercy on you.  In His word He reveals that it is not His will that any should perish but that all should repent, turn from these wicked practices and come into the saving knowledge of Jesus, the Christ.

 2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness;
but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Father, in the name of Jesus, the Christ I repent for every wrong thing that I have done.  I ask that you forgive me and cleanse me from every sin of witchcraft.   I renounce any ties to the occult or to any such wicked practices and ask that you would set me free, in Jesus name!  I decree and declare that from this day forward that Jesus, you are Lord and Savior of my life!

The only goal of a curse in your life is to cause you hardship, pain, misfortune, gross disappointment and even death.  A curse is either rendered over your life and enters or you may have knowingly or unknowingly attracted a curse to your life by your actions, words or deeds or they simply came through your generational lineage when you were born.

What many people do not know is that the enemy has demonic monitoring spirits that watch your life.  These spirits gather information concerning you and seek occasion to enter your life.  Every curse has a demonic spirit attached to it.  The assignment of these spirits is to ensure that the curse is enacted in your life and leads to your ultimate demise.

1 Peter 5:8 

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

In 1 Peter 5:8, the word of God exposes the fact that the enemy goes about in the earth seeking how he can destroy the people of God.  He seeks opportunity to enter your life and assign his demonic spirits to torment you; either with unexplainable sickness, demonic cycles of financial hardships, separation in your relationships, spirits of fear, anxiety, terror and more. No  matter how the curse has come, Jesus came to destroy its ultimate purpose in your life.

Jesus came to the earth to fulfill one assignment and that was to set mankind free from a ruthless enemy, the devil, and redeem him back to God.   When Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice and shed every drop of blood in His body, the plan of salvation and deliverance was activated for all who acknowledged, believed and confessed Jesus as their Savior and Deliverer.  His sacrifice on the Cross and ultimate resurrection, gave Him the control of all power in heaven and earth.  (Matthew 28:18)

After His sacrifice on the Cross, Jesus He went to hell and took the keys or, better, the power of death, hell and the grave so that He had all power in the earth realm to command every devil out of your life, to destroy the demonic curse that they were activating to keep you in bondage and to shut the gates of hell working against your life in order to set you free.  (Revelation 1:18)  You are totally delivered and set free by the power of the blood of Jesus; and whom the Son sets free, is free indeed!  (John 8:36)

There are many reasons that curses exist in people’s lives.   Many times, the practices, activities or behaviors in which we engage can bring demonic cures.  In other regards, a curse can be projected by witches, wicked people who are hateful or jealous towards you and even the devil, himself.  Regardless of how curses come, it is not the will of God that you live under any curse.  Curses are spiritually illegal. Jesus sacrifice on the Cross and the shedding of His blood gives you legal right to be free from every curse of the enemy.

The enemy has no right to enact any curse over your life.  The only power he has is what you give him; either by agreeing with his demonic lies or by simply not doing anything to counter his attack.  Whether you choose to resist him or not, the enemy will continue to fight you, as a believer, with diabolical tactics designed to bring hardship, distress, trauma or tragedy.  These destructive curses are weapons that he forms against your life in an effort to cause your ultimate demise.   (John 10:10)

In Isaiah 54:17, the Word of God reveals that although the weapons of the enemy may form, they will not prosper and every tongue that rises against you, you have power to condemn.  Jesus said that the power of life and death is in your tongue.  (Proverbs 18:21)  You have the power to reverse the curse of every ill wish or wicked decree uttered against your life by making prophetic declarations of your own.

If you are sick, declare that you are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24); if you are last decree and declare that the last shall be first (Matthew 20:16); if you are poor or weak declare that you are rich and strong (Joel 3:10), in Jesus mighty name!   Wherever, there is a curse in your life, with spiritual authority and boldness, curse the curse by declaring the word of God against it. The spirit of God inside of you, gives you the unction and the power to speak those things that be not as though they were already. (Romans 4:17) You have the God-given right and ability to rebuke, stop, cancel, prophetically reverse or curse every curse…the power is in your mouth!
